We Sing Thy Praise O Lady Pure

We sing thy praise, O Lady pure,
Who didst bless Walsingham;
Thou didst appear to Richeldis
And blessed the English land!
To her thy home at Nazareth
Thou didst reveal the plan,
Commanding that a shrine be built
God’s Kingdom to expand.

O Full of Grace, O Virgin pure,
Who didst say “Yes” to God,
And didst conceive and bear His Son
To shed His love abroad,
Thy holy manners grant us, then,
Blest Mother, to adopt,
That in our spirits Jesus Christ
Might e’er make His abode.

We pray, O Lady of Walsingham
For us do intercede;
For all our needs and for the Church
Before thy Son do plead!
Pray that all Christians live as one,
And all divisions cease,
That all may see and glorify
Christ Jesus, Prince of Peace!
