Inviolata, Integra Et Casta Es Maria

At the end of the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the 1736 Paris Breviary this text is included under the section head “Prosa de Beata ad devotionem.”

Inviolata, integra et casta es, Maria:
Quæ es effecta fulgida cæli porta.

O mater alma Christi carissima,
Suscipe pia laudum præconia.

Nostra ut pura pectora sint et corpora.
Te nunc flagitant devota corda et ora.

Tua per precata dulcisona,
Nobis concedas veniam per sæcula.

O benigna! O benigna! O benigna!
Quæ sola inviolata permansisti.

Veritas de terra orta est,
Et iustitia de cælo prospexit.

Oratio:
Famulorum tuorum, quæsumus, Domine, delictis ignosce, ut qui tibi placere de actibus nostris non valemus, genitrice Filii tui Domini nostri intercessione salvemur; per eumdem.
