Memento De Deo Deus

This hymn was used as the hymn for Prime, Terce, Sext, & None in the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Paris Breviary (1736).

Memento, de Deo Deus‚
Quod matre natus Virgine,
Nostri misertus, perditi
Mundi redemptor veneris.

Et nos‚ Dei Virgo parens‚
Vultu benigno respice:
Placabilem tua prece
Fac esse nobis Filium.

Qui natus es de Virgine‚
Iesu, tibi sit gloria,
Cum Patre, cumque Spiritu
In sempiterna sæcula. Amen.

Words: Paris Breviary, 1736.
Tune: Unknown.
Meter: 88.88
